We are very excited about our Guildford DEF summer gathering on Tuesday 18th June at 7.45pm at Christ Church Guildford.  I'm delighted to announce that Rev Andrew Goddard is coming to give a 30 minute update on LLF entitled: Where are we now?  This will be followed by a short update on the work of the Alliance and a Q&A session with Andrew Goddard, Bishop Andrew and Esther Prior.  We will begin the evening with some drinks and light food followed by worship and close with prayer.  We'd love you to prioritise this evening and please do invite others you know in your Parish or Deanery or within the wider Diocese who would be interested to attend.

GDEF are delighted to invite you to an evening with Dr Rachel Jordan-Wolf, Executive Director at Hope Together. From an early age Rachel has been passionate that others would discover Jesus for themselves and this passion continues in all that she does in leading Hope Together and in local church life. 

 

What we can find out about those outside the church is so important to shape our strategy in evangelism. Rachel will share the 'Talking Jesus' research and other key pieces of research that are shaping the evangelistic culture in the UK.

GDEF invite you to an evening with Sarah Jackson, CEO at re-vitalise Trust, and Chair of The Alliance.​

The evening will begin with drinks and nibbles and time to re-connect with others from across the diocese.

​

We'll join together in worship at 8pm, and Sarah will share an update on the work of The Alliance ahead of the July General Synod. Most importantly there will be a time of prayer - for the renewal of biblical faith throughout the Church of England, and revival in our nation.
